Нужен полный перевод.
Entertainment Weekly‘s Mandi Bierly caught up with Julie Plec to get an update on the search for Klaus. A few hundred actors have already read for the role and Julie says the show is getting “great” tapes from England and Australia, which may help in casting a fresh face unfamiliar to North American audiences.

They’re willing to think outside the box. “The big important elements of this character are charisma and gravitas. You’ve got to be able to be afraid of this guy, whether you’re afraid of him because he looks scary or because he’s so charming that the fact that he can snap your neck with his pinky would take you by surprise. So whether he’s an Old Word-flavored guy or new hip, contemporary, speedy kinda guy, that remains to be seen. We’ll see what actor we connect to the most.”

READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE AT ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY.

What say you, TVD fans? Would an unknown be the best bet? Or do you want to see a familiar face in the role? (And make sure you read Epic Vampire Diaries casting begins – why book & TV fans should be excited.)

@CWBrandi sent out a heads up a few weeks ago, and now we can finally see Paul Wesley’s cover story for Women’s Wear Daily. You have to be a subscriber to view the interview and accompanying photos on their site, but thanks to VDSource for the heads up that you can view the entire article (and very nice photos!) over at Lovely Sucks.

“Season one was incredibly taxing on me because I got a little too almost method and it got a little bit intense for me as far as affecting my personal being,” says Wesley (though obviously not literally method considering his character’s proclivities). “I’ve made a very conscientious decision to try not to take home what I do at work, which I was not really capable of at first. But I realized, this is a marathon, not a sprint, so I’m preparing myself for the long run.”

Katerina Graham talks with the Hartford Courant about her New Year’s Even party at the Shrine in Connecticut, as well as her career so far and her New Year’s resolutions.

Q: Who is your own favorite witch?
A: I love the witches in the “Wizard of Oz.” When I was younger I loved “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and Willow from ” Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” They were normal witches. That’s why I like playing Bonnie. She is so absolutely normal on the outside.

Upcoming guest star Dawn Olivieri shares her ten favorite things about 2010 with Monsters and Critics and lets slip a very interesting tidbit about her upcoming role on Vampire Diaries. SPOILERS.

And more end of year lists!
